MISSING REFERENCE BOOKS
Fill out form for Josie. The student assistants will search for the missing book.
Also, there is a mendery page on the clipboard at the ref desk that mentions books sent to the mendery or bindery.
When patrons report missing books from the stacks, refer them to the "Request to Locate Book" card or form that is in the Reference Desk files and also at the Circulation Desk.
Check with Mina to see if missing reference books are in her work area waiting to have location changes or be de-refed. Reference books waiting for location changes can usually be found in Serials or Cataloging and are usually being de-refed, meaning they currently say Ref but will eventually be located in the Circulating Stacks.
