GEOCHRON
The SDSU Library was given a Geochron as a gift from Aztec Shops in memory of the three engineering professors who died in 1996. It is located on the 5th Floor of Love Library.
A Geochron is a mechanized and illuminated map of the world that dynamically shows the current time of day throughout the world. It also illustrates the “gray line,” a curving, moving line demarcating the daylight and dark areas of the earth as they change.
