FINDING A LAW BY ITS NAME

For the text of the original law see:

Statutes At Large (AE 2.111: Reference/US) (for historical laws) (indexed by short title or popular title in Shepards Acts -- see below)

Congressional Universe for 1988-present

Also see Shepard's acts and cases by popular names, federal and state (Ref. KF 90 .S4)

For the text of the law that is currently in force see:

The Cornell Law School version of the US Code (http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/)

You can also use the Congressional Universe version of the USC (United States Code) or the GPO version (available via a link in the PAC or at http://catalog.gpo.gov/ -- the GPO Catalog), but the Cornell version is the easiest to use.
