Please call 44754 to report all "urgent" (potentially hazardous) building problems such as water on floor, ceiling leaks, or anything else that could cause someone or something harm if the problem is not attended to immediately. When you call 44754 either a student assistant will answer and will take your message - or - the telephone will ring four times, you will hear a taped message and your call will automatically transfer to the Work Control Office at Physical Plant. Please do not call the Library Administration Office main line or individual staff phone lines to report these "urgent" building problems and do not call Work Control directly. After 5pm the Circulation Desk should be called.

If you become aware of HVAC (Heating/Venting/Air Conditioning) problems, please report the problems directly to Physical Plant at 44754. The person who answers "Work Control" at 44754 will be able to route your message to the appropriate person.

Please report all routine building problems that do not require immediate attention via the online form found on the lfolkswiki forms page at http://lfolkswiki.sdsu.edu/index.php/Forms. You will be able to submit your report via an excel form on-line and submit it directly to wcontrol@mail.sdsu.edu. As always, on the form if you will please use your phone number, and my Email address, bbriggs@mail.sdsu.edu, I will automatically receive a copy and can follow up if needed. These messages to wcontrol@mail.sdsu.edu are picked up and reviewed by staff in Physical Plant within an hour or two of the time they are sent and will be routed to the person who needs to work on the problem. Please do not call the Library Administration Office to report routine building problems.
