EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION
The 10-K report often contains officers' salaries and executive compensation information. Sometimes executive compensation for a corporation can only be found in the Proxy Statement, which is another filing with the SEC but which is also available through the standard sources:
Lexis-Nexis has 10-Ks in their Business section.

Also see the Financial Snapshot Report under the COMPANY QUICK SEARCH section of Factiva, which (under the officers section) will provide the executive's position, name, age and salary.
The San Diego Union Tribune often has articles and tabular data about executive pay in San Diego
For executive compensation in the nonprofit sector, see http://www.guidestar.org/ (source for financial information on non-profits). For compensation for presidents and other administrators in the academic world, see http://chronicle.com/indepth/compensation/
Another possibility is to do a keyword search in the PAC for "compensation survey," or seach the same phrase in article databases such as Lexis-Nexis, Academic Search Premier, Business and Industry Database, or Proquest.
