DISRUPTIVE PATRONS

If you feel threatened, we are to refer to our colleague at the reference desk with us by their last name. This is a signal to them to either try to defuse the situation, to step in so we can call the police, or go and call them themselves. Remember we can use 911 if it is a real emergency and 41911 for regular police dispatcher.
