DATA SETS

There are many different kinds of data sets, including demographic data, geologic or spatial data, etc. Most of the are quantitative or numeric data. These data sets can reside on CD-ROMs, Internet servers (such as American Factfinder), or in local data banks such as SSRL.

One way to locate data sets is to do a PAC search on "data sets" and limit by Location=Remote File, Location=Media Center, or Location=Internet.

Another way to find data sets is to do a keyword search for "Databases and Statistics" limited by (1) Internet or by (2) Media Center.
