DATABASE PROBLEMS

If a database is not working within the library, do the following:

  1. Wait 15 minutes to ensure that it is not a temporary access problem.
  2. If the problem appears to be local to San Diego State contact Kyle Murley so that he can research it.
  3. If the problem appears to be with the database provider rather than SDSU, contact Wil Weston or Sara Baird and ask them to contact the vendor for resolution.

Browser Issues

Most of our databases work with Internet Explorer (Windows only), Firefox, or Safari. Mac users should not be using Internet Explorer (development stopped with version 5.2.3) or Netscape Navigator (last version is 9.0).
