BUSINESS WEB SITES
Many students go to the WWW when they first start looking for company information, when if fact, it should be the last place. The WWW has good business information, but finding it can be a challenge unless you already know quite a bit about the company. Search engines can turn up some interesting results, but most often they don't provide reliable information. It is best to start with the more traditional resources (including the recommended WWW sites) noted above, and then move cautiously onto the WWW.
There are sites on the WWW called "Webliographies", where many links to information of a particular "theme" are brought together for quick, easy access. The webliographies listed below have a business theme. They are maintained and updated by human beings, not computer algorithms, so you can be confident that the sites provide quality information, and that they will be there next time you "click" on them.
