Binding shipments are sent out once a month.

The library binding schedule can be viewed at: http://www-rohan.sdsu.edu/~serials/Binding/Bindingindex.html

If a box has the status "TO BIND" that means that the issue this box refers to is at the bindery and was sent on the date in the box.

If a box has the status "BIND PREP" the issue that box refers to is on the Incomplete Shelf (INC Shelf) in the CPMC. A volume will go to the incomplete shelf when there is an issue within that volume that is missing. In these cases, the status of those corresponding boxes will be "MISSING," "UNAVAILABLE," or "OUT OF PRINT." These boxes will either have the note "Backordered" or "On Order." "Backordered" means that the replacement procurer has found a supplier for that issue and the order has been placed, "On Order" means that an order card has been filled out for that issue and the replacement procurer is looking for a supplier.

The serials unit is currently in the process of making item records for all bound volumes on the shelves but this will take many years. In the mean time, please refer to the summary holdings.
