The San Diego Computer Museum (see http://www.computer-museum.org/) was donated to SDSU in 2005. This committee will plan and implement the exhibition of these items.

The exhibit will be developed with a historical context in mind. This might be accomplished by consulting with interested SDSU teaching faculty or David Weil, the former curator of the museum.

Questions that the Dean would like addressed by the committee

  • How will you ensure that the really historically significant pieces are selected?
  • Are you planning on changing the exhibit from time to time or is it more permanent?
  • Is there anyone on the Engineering or Business Systems faculty with expertise?
  • Is obtaining donor assistance in funding the exhibit a possibility?
